Steps to Activate Freecharge Go Master Card with screenshots

Are you a regular online shopper? Would you like to buy products from online e-commerce sites? But don't like to make purchase using your credit or debit card and mostly rely on cash on delivery payment. Then this post is for you. If you are a freecharge user then you can leave all these headaches. Because you can now pay your online shopping bills using your freecharge account. Already you can buy items from snapdeal site using freecharge balance and now they extended that service to other online shopping sites too. Recently they introduced a new way to use your freecharge balance in other sites using your freecharge go master card. With this feature you can do worry free shopping. 

A few months back they activated this for a limited time and two days back they again come up with the same and pulled it back in few minutes. But now they held a place for this in our freecharge account that's why I am posting this for you. Don't miss this chance and grab your credit card ASAP.

What is Freecharge Go MasterCard? 

It's a virtual credit card that linked to your FreeCharge account. It will act as a medium to use or spend our freecharge wallet balance to do online transactions. Also your virtual credit card is powered by Yes bank

What you can do with it?

Like using your physical credit card you can use your freecharge Go MasterCard to pay with your freecharge wallet balance or credits. But the only difference is that you can use it only for online or electronic payments. 

Steps to activate or Apply for Freecharge Go Master Card

You can activate it directly from your FreeCharge account at free of cost via their site or app. At first we can apply for it from website but you can now go for it using their app. Follow below steps

Using Site

• Log-in to your Freecharge account
• Click on Man like avatar icon from top right side of the site
• From the drop down menu select My Account
• Click on Introducing Freecharge Go Master Card pic or tap on Know more

• Then tap on Get your card button to proceed further

• Now set a secret MPIN to start creating your freecharge go card and click on Set MPIN button from below

• Then again enter your MPIN and click on Submit button
• Done!... You successfully created your Freecharge Master card powered by Yes bank

You will be required to set an MPIN for added security, and you will need to enter the MPIN to view the card details.

Using App

• Install or update the latest freecharge app from playstore
• Sign-in to your freecharge account
• Click on Menu icon from the top left side of the app home
• From the options select My account
• Now follow the same steps as above
• That's all. 

To view your card next time after you created it. Go to account >> Click on view your card option >> Enter your MPIN number and submit >> That'all you can see your freecharge card details

What is MPIN?

MPIN is an added layer of security for your FreeCharge account. You would have set your MPIN when you created your FreeCharge Go Mastercard. You will need to enter the same MPIN to view the card details like card number and CVV.

Before using the virtual credit card

Your will need to copy your 16 digit card number card number, valid till date and CVV number before shopping. Otherwise you have to login to freecharge account at the time of payment to do the same. Also you have to keep your freecharge registered mobile number with you because the OTP message for verifying transaction will be sent to your number. 

Also don't share your card details with anyone and if you copied it for doing transaction then delete it after the use. 

Before proceeding to use your freecharge go card make sure that you had enough balance in your wallet otherwise payment will be failed

Steps to use FreeCharge Go MasterCard

• Go to any online shopping site that you wish to buy products
• Then add it to the cart or select buy it and on the payment page choose the "Credit Card" option
• Copy and use the FreeCharge Go MasterCard number, valid till date and CVV that copied earlier and proceed to checkout
• You will receive the OTP for verifying the transaction on your FreeCharge registered mobile number
• Enter the OTP and you are done!
• Your order has been successfully placed.

Also the transactions made with the card will be visible as usual as in your transaction history in your FreeCharge account

Note :- You can made transactions using this virtual card only  with the merchant/sites that supports transactions in Indian rupees (INR).

How to block your card?

If you find your virtual card was misused or want to block it then you can do so by sending an email to care@freecharge.com with the subject “Block my Go card”. Please make sure this is sent from your FreeCharge registered email ID.

How to update/reset MPIN?

You can update MPIN from your FreeCharge account. Go to account from the Menu oprtion >> Click on view your card option >> Enter your MPIN number and submit >>View your card and click on Update MPIN option.
