Steps to create a New Account in Mobikwik Site-App with screenshots [Updated]

Are you going to take a new account in Mobikwik? Then let me tell you how to sign up in new mobikwik app or site. Steps to Change Mobikwik Primary Number [Updated]

You can change your primary number that you used to register at the time of registering with them later via their site or app. Here I added both way to change it

Note : A primary number change will cancel all your pending money transfers

Using Mobikwik App

• Sign-in to your Mobikwik Account 
• Click on Menu icon on the top right side of the app home
• Then select My wallet option

• Now select Favourites and tap on your Primary number (Number that want to be change) which is at the top of the list
• On the next page select Edit option by clicking on a 3 vertical dot Icon on the top right side

• Enter your new number and tap on Save button

• After that verify your new mobile number with OTP to save it as your new primary number
• That's all. You had successfully changed your primary mobile number

Using Mobikwik Site

• Log-in to your account via PC 
• Click on Men menu like icon from the top right side of the site
• From the options select Saved connections

Your primary will be show on the top the list

• Tap on Edit button which is on the right of your primary number
• Now select your operator, enter your new mobile primary mobile number, mark prepaid/postpaid and click on save button
• Then on the pop-up window tap on Send OTP button to verify your new primary mobile number with OTP
• Done!...You had successfully changed your primary number

Steps to make a New Account in Mobikwik Site

You can either choose their app or site for account creation. But before that you must have an active mobile number and email to use with them for getting notifications about your transactions in future. 

Apart from their app we can use any of our Gmail account with their site to create a new account. Of course you can do the same with the app but there is little restriction for that. I will later tell you what it is?

• Go to Mobikwik Site 
• Click on Create wallet button from top 

• Now enter your email, Mobile Number, set password & select prepaid/postpaid

• Then hit create wallet button 
• On the next page verify your mobile number with OTP that received to your inbox if not asked for OTP then just leave it
• That's all. Your account was successfully created
• Log-in again with your details to enjoy their service

Now you can utilize all their services and you can these details to log-in to their app.

Steps to take a new Account in Mobikwik App

Restriction that I mentioned above is by clicking on sign up button in app you will see a list of Gmail accounts that you have already sign-in with your smartphone or your playstore default email ID and you can only select email from that list to register with them. 

But if you would like to sign-up with a different email address then you have to first add that email to your smartphone's account list before you open the app and head to start a new journey with mobikwik. 

Note : In mobikwik app we can't manually enter email address that we would like to use to create a new account with them. During sign-up process they only allow us to select our playstore log-in email ID or other gmail accounts that we are already used to sign-in to our smartphone. If you wish to add a new email address you like then follow below steps

Go to Settings in your smartphone → Accounts →  Add Account → Select Email → Here login to your email that you would like take account with mobikwik. After completed the above steps then follow from below.

• Install and open the app from playstore
• Tap Man avatar like Menu icon from the top right side of the app home

• Now select Sign-up option from below

On next page you may see your playstore email address was auto-entered. Don't worry just tap on it then a list of email IDs that you logged in to your phone including the email address that you added from your phone settings will be also show as a pop-up from below. Simply choose any email address from them you like. That's all.

• After selected your email address from the list then enter your mobile number, mark whether it is prepaid or postpaid, set password and finally click on Verify & Sign-up button
• Then verify your mobile number with OTP 
• Done!...Your wallet was successfully created
• Now log-in again with your email and password

Steps to Recover Mobikwik Password

You can reset password with your registered email account via site and by mobile number from app.

Using Site

• Click Log-in option from the top right side of the site
• Select Forgot password option
• Now enter your mobikwik registered email address and click Send Mail button

Shortly you will receive a mail from them. Also check the spam box too

• Then Log-in to your Gmail account, open their mail & click reset password button
• On next page enter your new password and tap Reset and Sign
• Done!... Login again with your new password

Using App

• Select Man like Menu icon option from the top right side of the app
• Then select Log-in option from below
• Click on forgot password
• Now enter your email address that registered with mobikwik and press continue button

An OTP message will send to your primary number which is the number registered with mobikwik and it gets auto verified by the app itself

• Then input new password and click reset password button
• Your password will successfully change and you can login again

To find out log out option in app

I too confused to find out log out option before acquainted with the mobikwik app. So, new users can follow these steps after you log-in to the app

• Click on Menu icon from top right side of the app home 
• Then select My wallet option
• Now tap on 3 vertical dots from top right side of the app
• From drop down list you can find the log out option. 
• That's all

Procedures to delete Mobikwik account

Like in paytm you can't delete your account instead of that you can request for the same by raising a support ticket. Here we go

• Go to their support page
• Select My account, write something about why you want to delete your account like that (See below screenshot)

• Then enter your Email ID and mobile number that you registered with the mobiwik
• Finally click Create ticket

You will get reply from them and delete your account within few days or may refund your wallet balance to your bank account.
