Steps to do DTH Recharge in Paytm App [Screen Shots Added]

Here I'm helping you to apply promocode and do DTH recharge to get cashback from paytm app or how to use paytm app for DTH recharge. Paytm supported Airtel DTH recharge, Videocon D2H recharge, SUN Direct recharge etc... in their paytm apps as well as in site anytime, anywhere you like and we neither want to stand in any bill paying queue nor reach out any retail recharge shops to recharge our DTH connection. With few clicks across after selecting the DTH value pack or entering the amount of your pack will be activate instantly and we will not miss any favorite shows on time due to the subscription package expire. 

You can do DTH recharge by completing the transaction using your Credit/Debit/ATM card or Net-banking or the paytm cash from wallet. Steps to do DTH Recharge using Promocode in Paytm App

Before going to recharge make sure that the paytm registered mobile number(for login verification OTP will be send to this number) & mobile number that you registered with your bank account (if you choose to use your credit/debit card as payment method) with you. Follow below steps

Skip steps 1 to 3 if already signed to your paytm account

Step 1

• Tap on Profile option from below of the app home

Step 2

• Then click on Login to paytm option from top

Step 3

• Now enter your mobile number, password and click on Secure Login and verify your login with OTP that received to inbox of your mobile number (OTP will auto-detect if not enter it manually)

Step 4

• Select DTH Recharge option from the app home 

Step 5

• Click under current operator and choose the operator from the list and under customer ID enter your's

Step 6

• Enter your recharge amount or You can also choose the subscription package that want to activate by clicking on the Browse Plans option. (But before doing that it's better to check the plan either by calling and confirm from your operator's customer care or checking the subscription plans from their site)

Step 7

• Then click on Proceed to Recharge button (But this button is only visible if you unchecked the Fast forward option - if you see a tick left to it then click on it to uncheck ie.tick will disappear)

If fast forward option is checked (seeing a tick icon left to it) and click on proceed button then you will directly taken to the payment page and don't have a chance to apply the promocode

Step 8

• On coming screen select Have a promocode? option and on pop-up enter the promo code & press Apply button (If you don't have a promo code then simply select Proceed to Pay button)

Step 9

• After successfully applied the promo code, press Proceed to pay button and you'll be direct to the payment page

Step 10

• If you have enough balance in your wallet then click/check the Use Paytm Wallet and press Pay Now to pay the amount from the paytm wallet. If you don't want to pay using your paytm balance then uncheck it and select other payment methods

Step 11

• If you selecting/clicking on other options for payment then you have to enter the card details to required field and here I'm selecting Debit card as my payment method - for that click on the Debit card option and enter the details

*4 - CVV (Card identification Value - last 3 digit Number)

1. Enter your 16 digit card number
2. Enter the month
3. Enter the year
4. Enter the CVV code which can be find on back of the card
5. Then press Pay Now option

If you select/check the Save this card to Faster checkout option then next time you don't have to enter all the details except the CVV number of the card.

If you want to select other payment methods then you can choose it by clicking on respective payment under Other payment modes

Step 12

If you use credit or debit card and press pay now button then a bank page will appear with a paytm pop-up from below where you have to enter the OTP for the confirmation of transaction.

The OTP will be send to your mobile number that you registered with your bank account. If you put the same mobile number in your phone then paytm will auto detect and verify it

If it's not auto-detected then enter it manually on the pop up from below & verify it and somehow if you're unable to enter the OTP then click outside of the pop-up and enter it to transaction page of the bank and press verify button

• Upon verification, your transaction will be complete and you will instantly get your DTH recharge.
