Steps to use promo code in Freecharge App [Updated]

Are you a new user to freecharge and don't know how to use voucher in freecharge app or having doubts in how to add credits in freecharge account using credit/debit card or from bank account. Also updated the post with the steps to do recharge by applying promocode in new version of freecharge app with screenshots. In this post you can find all above steps explained in screenshots. They have both app and site in which you can use their services. Also you can add money to you freecharge account as Freecharge credits and use it to recharge to your mobile number, Data Card, DTH connection or paying bills. There is no need of freecharge credits if you have a credit card or any other payment method they supports. 

But the benefit of adding free credits is, once it was loaded to your account then you can use it directly and instantly to do your transaction faster than the time taken to completing transaction using credit/debit or any other payment options. These codes can be used to redeem at the time of recharging or paying bills in their app or site to get discount or sometimes you will get free transactions without paying any single money. Before applying promo codes you have to keep some tips in your mind. Because promo codes has certain conditions to meet for applying and get benefits. 

• Check offer period of the promo code. 
• Sometimes codes can redeem only through app or their sites. 
• Ensure that any limit for the minimum amount you have entered for transactions to get discounts. 
• Some promo codes are purely for newly registered users. 
• Certain coupons are valid for complete transaction via your Credit/Debit card. 
• If you can use a code more than one time then apply it between at least 15 mins or more than that for getting a better success rate of your promo codes. 
• May be its take some time (1-2 hours or more) to reflect your Cashback.
• Bank specific coupons works only on respective bank's credit card.

So, check whether above conditions if you failed to apply a promo code. Also remember to keep an updated version of their apps for both security and eliminate bugs while you're using it. 

Freecharge

Freecharge is an online recharging site that you can pay bills, recharge your mobile number, Data Card DTH etc. Sometimes they will give offers for their users in the form of free credits, Cashback or discounts. Even there are promo codes that you can use to add money to your freecharge account. You can these credits for recharge or pay your bills. 

Freecharge credits

It’s the money in your freecharge account. You can add money from your bank account to freecharge and deposit it as free credits. Also Cashback are credited to your account in the form of free credits. These credits has no validity and remains in your account until you use it. 

Steps to apply promo codes in Freecharge app

Install/sign up or Sign in to freecharge app. You can sign in or sign up using your facebook or Google+ account after login you will enter to its home page. 

Step 1

If you are an old user then you can select the mobile numbers that you are already recharge them with earlier under Recents option from the app home and follow the step from 3

If you are a new user or want to do a fresh recharge then select mobile option to recharge your mobile number or select Electricity to pay your energy bills or select DTH to top-up your Dish TV connection or select more to find the data card recharge option, pay landline bills and so on. Here I am selecting mobile to top-up my number.

Step 2

On the next page enter your mobile number you want to recharge or you can select it from your phone contact list

Then enter the recharge amount and click on Done in the number pad or select Plans option to choose the available plans that you would like to recharge

After completing above step click on promo code option where you can enter your cashback code (see below screenshot)

Step 5

Then a pop-up will appear and enter the promo code you have and tap on Apply button

Step 6

After your promo code get successfully applied select your payment method (credit/debit card or net banking), enter respective details and click on proceed to pay your amount to complete the transaction.

If you want to recharge again then Go to Recents repeat the Step from 3
