Free Talktime Giving Apps for Android - Common Problems and its Solutions [Updated]

You may come across certain issues while using apps that gives free talktime for installing apps via them. Sometimes Free recharge apps for android may failed to give you referral credits or talktime, not processing your recharge etc... This is for temporary and you can keep them out. Then I am sharing my experience with these apps with you by pointing some problems that you may face or facing or faced and its solutions or the steps you take to get rid of such bugs when you trying free talktime giving apps. 

What are Freecharge Apps? 

For those who are newbies to this app and want to know how they are useful to you then I am giving it as a wrapped form what they are. 

These apps give free talktime for installing other apps via them from playstore by following the steps within the app. After reaching this accumulated talktime to a certain threshold value (min recharge value) you can used to recharge your mobile number. Verification process failed

To use these apps you had to verify your mobile number with them. For that they will send you an OTP (ONE-TIME-PASSWORD) a combination of numbers as SMS to your phone after you entered the mobile number to this app and within no time it will reach to your mobile. Sometimes not and this may happens due to below reasons. 

• DND (Do-not-disturb) service is activated in your mobile number. 
• You mistypes your number. 
• Using a wifi connection.

If you using wifi for the initial registration of these apps then you may failed to receive the password. Try to register again with the app by switching to your mobile data. The OTP received to your mobile will auto detect by the app if not you can manually enter it. After that you can use wifi for completing offers in the app.

No credits

Followed all steps that mentioned in the app but not get credits for installing and trying apps. Let's check what's the problem is

• Ensure that the apps in offer area are installed for the first time in your phone.
• App failed to install after you activated the offer.
• Incompatibility issues of the installing apps with your phone OS. 
• Slow internet speed. 
• You use Operamini or UC browser to complete the offer.

Sometimes the app takes 24 hours to credit you if not then reach the app developers through their opinion (feedback) channel. Also you can easily draw their attention by dropping a review about the issues in their app page in playstore. They will definitely reach and solve the issue.

No offers

Sometimes there were no offers. Here are some of the possible reasons for that.

• They may run out of offers in a day or offers tried early by other users. 
• You didn't update the app. 
• Some apps give more offers for updating your profile in app.

Also you had to check regularly for new offers and the most right time for getting more new offers is between 12.am to 2.am at night and sometimes around 12.pm. Ya!..I know it’s difficult to check at this time. So, go for this only if you want new offers or earn more talktime. It's up to you check offers at this time and I am not recommending you to do so. Because leaving your sleep at night is not good for your health.   

Don't get Referral Credit

The recharge apps have certain conditions for referring friends and get referral credits. So, make sure these conditions are met by your referrer.

• Person who you referred must be install free talktime app for the first time.
• Some cases your referral has to install the app in offers area and get credit for that or claim his first recharge with the app, 
• Your Referral link must be open via Google Chrome or in default android browser by others. 
• Slow internet connection here also makes problems. 
• Incompatibility issues of the referred app with your friend's mobile.

At least tell your friends or others who you referring to open your referral link in any of the above mentioned browsers. 

Recharge failed or slow recharge

It's a temporary situation that the app failed to process your recharge request. You can try after some time for the same. 

Recharge Failed

Your recharge may fails due to number of reasons. Below are some of them. 

• Check the least talk time that the app offers for recharge. 
• Some operators don't support low talktime recharging values. 
• Your internet must have some decent speed. 
• App server is down (such cases wait sometime for next recharge). 
• Continuous recharge request. 
• Some app has certain recharging time for processed your recharge request (this may pointed within the app). 
• Request recharge only after selecting your current operator if you have a ported phone number.

Make sure that you selected your current operator for recharging request. Because while entering your mobile number the app may auto detect your old operator and if you continue to recharge without notifying that may lose your credits. Some apps will credit back to you if the recharge was not successful. 

Recharge slow

Some apps take 24 hours to process your recharge request. This may due to the server down time of the app and wait if the recharging time was mentioned by the app. 

Concerned about your privacy

Did you concerned about your privacy while giving your information like mobile number, name etc... to these apps then these tips for you.

Assign a default rarely using mobile number to these apps for verification purpose. Because you need your mobile number only at the time of OTP verification after that you can use or keep any other phone number for using this app in your mobile. 

In my case until now I didn't face any privacy breaches like unwanted calls, finding my number in somewhere else etc... after providing my mobile number to these apps. So, you don't need to worry about that.
